A lethal second half two goal blast from Kilcoo put the gloss on a hard fought win for the whites over Warrenpoint at Moygannon on Friday night.

Both goals came inside a minute of each other ten minutes into the second period, as both Sean Óg McCusker and Jerome Johnston beat Point goalkeeper Niall Howlet to see the visitors take control of an otherwise tight contest.

A halftime score of 1-08 to 0-10 summed up the first half, with an Aaron Magee major for the Blues being the highlight moment of an industrious display from both teams.

The Magpies pushed on after the break, and the one-minute double blast sent them home to Páirc Eoghan Rua as league leaders, with three wins from three games going into round four of Division 1 football in Down.
