OLS reach 4 finals in the Netball NI Schools Finals Day

Having one school, in the local area, qualify for four finals in netball shows remarkable skill, teamwork, and dedication across multiple age groups in OLS. The depth of talent within the school continues to show the strength of the netball program. It’s a huge accomplishment for the players, coaches, and the entire school community.

As coaches, seeing hard work and dedication pay off in such a big way is incredibly rewarding. Bringing in guest coaches has been a great way to introduce fresh perspectives and new techniques. The extra sessions make the teams as prepared as possible and the players feel even more confident knowing they have so much support behind them.

Next week, Tuesday 25th March, the Intermediates take on high flyers St Dominic’s, a rerun of last year’s Junior Cup final. With the Seniors playing Glenlola in the Plate final.

The following week, Tuesday 1st April, our Minors take on Strathearn in the Plate final whilst the Junior are waiting to see who they play between Wallace and Belfast High in their Plate final.

No matter the outcome, a little bit of history has been made in OLS and we are bursting with pride. Best of luck to all four teams and coaches. A massive few weeks ahead and we hope we have plenty out to support our girls.
