Hundreds of racing cyclists will decend on the small County Armagh village of Poyntzpass on Sunday (9th March) for week 2 of the new season, at the John Haldane Memorial.

The riders and the travelling entourage of managers, mechanics, marshalls, medics, race officals and supporters will gather at the Redmond O’Hanlon’s GAC for a 10am roll out.

The Haldane race (main sponsor Haldane Fisher) will be raced on the Tandragee circuit for the first time after many years of life at the Newry/Warrenpoint dual carriageway.

There will be two races on the day. The C1/2 groups will race together and the C3 riders will form the second race. The peleton will leave Poyntzpass to join the circut at Scarva, where they will commence the lap racing taking in Gilford and Tandragee, with the event finishing back at Poyntzpass in early afternoon.
