An 83rd-minute strike from young Reece Doyle at Milltown on Saturday was enough to send the seasiders six points clear of Dollingstown in the PlayerFit Premier Intermediate League.

Doyle got on the end of a cross from defender Christopher Crane, to stab home the winning goal and break the hearts of the visitors, Moyola Park. Diarmuid O’Hanlon had earlier opened the scoring for the Point with a beautiful curled shot on 42 minutes, after some good work by Rory Powell.
The Point now top the table on 38pts from 16 games six points clear of chasers, Dollingstown, who they meet on Saturday 1st March at Planters Park Dollingstown.
